City manager, Roddy Collins, will get a proper look at some of his potential new signings on Tuesday evening but warns, "I could bring in another 50 players if I wanted."

Derry began pre-season training at the Vale Centre on Monday and, with a number of fresh faces integrating with the squad, Roddy Collins and Peter Hutton are running their eye over a number of individuals before making any permanent decisions.

Already, defender Marvin Torvic, striker Mark Stewart, midfielder Leon McSweeney and former Ipswich winger Cormac Burke have been out with the Candy Stripes but have yet to complete a move to the Brandywell club.  Tuesday night's friendly will provide the management team with a better look at their options in a more competitive environment though.

"We'll have a good look at them next Tuesday night and we'll take it from there," Collins told DerryNow.com.  "I know what I want.  I'm not going to get exactly what I want because we're not Manchester United but I know what I want and I know what's required.

"There won't be a procession of players in and out every day but it's just a case of seeing how the ones we do have in get on.  If they don't come up to scratch with what I want, then I'll have plenty of other options."
