Four men stole money and a mobile phone after forcing their way into the home of two elderly people in Limavady, it has emerged.
The gang entered the house at Dunmore Place (pictured) yesterday evening (Wednesday) at around 6pm.
The occupants of the house, a man, who is in his 70s, and a woman in her 60s, were not injured during the incident however it is believed they have been left badly shaken by the terrifying incident.
Last night detectives issued an appeal for information on the identity of the men who were all dressed in hats, gloves, balaclavas, black tops and trousers.
The late Frankie Clifford, who passed away on Tuesday.
