Shantallow Library in Derry to close for three months to allow for essential maintenance works

Shantallow Library will close from Wednesday 12 December for approximately three months to facilitate essential maintenance works. During this time, customers can visit nearby libraries operating as usual,including Derry Central Library, 35 Foyle Street, Derry, telephone: 028 7122 9990, Creggan Library, 59 Central Drive, Derry, telephone 028 7126 6168 During the library closure, items can be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number, which is available from library staff, eBooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library. As a library member, you can borrow items from and return to any public library across Northern Ireland. For details of all libraries and opening hours, visit the Libraries NI website www.librariesni.org.uk. "We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this temporary closure and look forward to reopening the doors in Spring 2019," a spokesperson said.
