Elizabeth (Nan) Cassidy (née O'Neill), 7 Newline Road, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late Elizabeth (Nan) Cassidy (née O'Neill), March 30 2026, Peacefully at her home: 7 Newline Road, Limavady surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Ann, Veronica, William, Helen, Siobhan, Brian, Fiona, Martina, Michelle, and the late Tommy R.I.P. Mother-in-law of Fintan and Caroline. A much loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Daughter of the late Peggy McCloskey R.I.P. Dear Sister of Mickey, Maggie, Danny, Anthony, Bernadette, Bridget, Gerald, Martin and the late John R.I.P. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am please. Funeral from her home on Wednesday, April 1 at 1.15pm for Requiem Mass in St Finlough’s Church Ballykelly at 2.00pm followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Bernard Doherty, 33 Elmgrove, Derry

The death has taken place of the late Bernard Doherty, March 31 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his home 33 Elmgrove, beloved husband of Angela, loving father of Kieran and Sean, and stepfather to Sharon (Thompson), Gerard, James and Michael McGonagle, a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather and father-in-law, dear son of the late Harry and Margaret, cherished brother of Fr. Michael, Ann Bradley, Margaret Hannaway, Susan McIlveen and the late Harry and Marian and a loving uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Bernard will be reposing at his home on Wednesday from 11:00am to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, April 2 at 11:20am to St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Funeral Service at 12:00noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. William Henry (Billy) Donnelly, Hillhead Road, Castledawson

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of William Henry (Billy) Donnelly, March 29 2026, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, latterly of Drapersfield House Nursing Home and formerly of Hillhead Road, Castledawson. A dear Brother and Uncle. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Wednesday evening April 1 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. A short Service of Thanksgiving for Billy's Life will take place in the Funeral Home following the wake on Wednesday evening, commencing at 8:45pm. A private cremation will take place at a later date. "The Lord is my Shepherd"

 

Martin Dunleavy, River Court Apartments, John Street, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Martin Dunleavy, March 27 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a short illness, (late of River Court Apartments, John Street), beloved son of the late John and Elizabeth, loving brother of John and the late Vivienne and a caring uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and all his friends. Martin will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and on Thursday from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Removal then leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Funeral Service on Friday, April 3 at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.

 

Robert McClelland, 9 Killyberry Lane, Bellaghy

The death has taken place of the late Robert McClelland, Called home March 30 2026, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, dearly beloved husband of Kathleen, 9 Killyberry Lane, Bellaghy, much loved brother of Rae, David, William, Elizabeth and the late James, dearest brother-in-law of Uel, Jean, Betty, Robert and Amy and also a loving uncle and great-uncle. House private. Funeral service in Bellaghy Gospel Hall on Wednesday (April 1) at 1:30pm followed by burial in Ballyscullion Parish Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, for The Lord’s Work Trust payable to Garvin’s Funeral Service (Donation’s A/c), 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP. Will always be loved and remembered by his wife and the entire family circle. “Redeemed with the precious blood of Christ” 1 Peter Ch 1 v 18

 

William Andrew Dickson McKay, 6 Springhill Terrace, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late William Andrew Dickson McKay, Passed away peacefully at his own home surrounded by his loving family. 6 Springhill Terrace, Limavady. Much loved husband of Yvonne, loving father of Bryan (Fiona), Nickie (Sarah), devoted Grandmother of Andrea, Lauren, Chloe and Faith. Dear brother of Sylvia, Marcia, John and the late Alan. House private (close family and friends only please). The death has taken place of David Rickerby, March 27 2026, peacefully at home, 4 Clonsilla Drive, Macosquin. Dearly beloved husband of Anne, much loved father of Cameron and Amy, father-in-law of Meah, granda of Ellington and Beau, brother of Sheila, brother-in-law of Gordon and uncle of Jennifer. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place in Macosquin Presbyterian Church Coleraine on Friday at 12.00noon. A private cremation will take place at a later date. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects to David at Wades Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Family flowers only please. Bridget “Bridie” Taylor (née Devine), 20 Beechmount, Feeny

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridget “Bridie” Taylor (née Devine), peacefully at home on March 30 2026. May she rest in peace. Late of 20 Beechmount, Feeny, Co Derry. Loving mother of Angela and Sharon and devoted grandmother of Leah and Adriana. Daughter of the late Patsy and Margaret RIP and dear sister of Bernie, John and Annemarie. Fond sister in law of Terence, Martina and the late Gerard RIP. Deeply regretted by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Bridie's wake has now commenced. Family time 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral on Wednesday, April 1 2026 leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Funeral arrangements for the late Christine White (née Ogilby), March 28 2026, (suddenly) at her home, 2 Loguestown Park Coleraine, beloved wife of the late Steven, much loved mother of William, Jessica, James, Samuel, Paul and Rebecca, devoted nanny to Holly, Oliver, Jaydin, Sophie and Katelynn, granny to Joshua, Mia, Lyla and Toby and dearest sister of Stephanie, Janet, Wendy, Mitchell, Billy, Scott and the late Norman and Bob Ogilby. Service in her home on Friday at 2.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Cemetery. Friends and family welcome at her home from Wednesday at 3.00pm. Will be sadly missed by her loving family and entire family circle.
