Obstruction and false identity leads to remand for Derry youth

Logan Tutor (20) of Summerhill Park in Derry was charged following a breach of his bail conditions

£250,000 fraud case involving Donegal woman adjourned at Derry Magistrate's Court

Derry Magistrate's Court

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court following a breach of his bail conditions.

Logan Tutor (20) of Summerhill Park in Derry was originally charged with, on June 30 last year, being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs, dangerous driving, possession of criminal property, having an offensive weapon in a public place, namely two baseball bats, failing to stop when required by police, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and obstructing police.

People objected to bail saying they had no confidence he will not reoffend and he refused to give the pin to his phone.

Defence Barrister Sinead Rogan said that this was Tutor's first offence in the adult court, telling the court that he had been on bail since November and that the new offences were 'simple possession and obstruction' when he gave police a false name upon being stopped.

She added that his co-accused had been given bail and that this was his first breach.
