Coffee Morning in memory of Strathfoyle Women's Activity Group's 'Wee Donna'
Strathfoyle Women's Activity Group (SWAG) is hosting a coffee morning in "loving memory" of longtime colleague, Donna McCloskey, affectionately known as 'Wee Donna'.
Sadly, Donna died at Christmas, devastating everyone who knew her.
Speaking to The Derry News, SWAG crèche manager, Ann Montgomery said: "We will be holding a coffee morning in loving memory of our dear friend and former colleague, Donna. This will be a time to share memories of lost loved ones.
"So many families have been affected by cancer, and if you wish to make a donation in memory of Donna or other loved ones, every contribution will be deeply appreciated.
"All donations received will be given in full to Cancer Research UK, a cause close to our hearts.
"If you areunable to attend on the day but would still like to contribute, you are very welcome to call into the centre with a donation and leave a message or memory in Donna’s memorial book. No donation is too small."
