County Derry's two most rural districts were among the highest for growth in house prices over in Northern Ireland over the last twelve months.
Data published last week by NISRA revealed the average price increase of houses in Mid Ulster and Causeway Coast and Glens were among the highest in NI's eleven local government districts.
However, the more urban district of Derry City and Strabane experienced the weakest year-on-year growth during the same period.
According to figures covering quarter 3 of 2022, the average cost of a house in Causeway Coast and Glens was £196,584, the third highest in Northern Ireland.
The district also showed the second strongest year-on-year growth, with prices rising by 12.0% since quarter 3 of 2021 alongside a 4.0% quarterly increase.
Mid Ulster's average house price of £169,610 was the sixth highest of the eleven districts, while the area posted year-on-year growth of 11.8%, tied with Newry, Mourne and Down in fourth place.
Its quarterly growth of 4.8% was the fourth highest in Northern Ireland, but the picture in Derry City and Strabane was not as positive.
Its average house price in quarter 3 of 2022 was £155,593, the lowest in Northern Ireland, with the area also posting the lowest year-on-year growth at 8.8%.
Its quarterly growth of 3.7% ranked eighth of NI's eleven local government districts.
Overall, house prices rose by 10.7% in Northern Ireland over the last twelve months, with the average house price rising to £176,131.
