Foyle Network Foundation: Hope and Dignity for 2026.
The Foyle Network Foundation, formerly Foyle Foodbank, said it is hoping for 'hope and dignity' for all in 2026/
Director Karen Mullan said: "As we enter 2026, the Foyle Network Foundation extends heartfelt wishes for a year of hope, dignity, and shared strength to our community in Derry.
"In 2025, we proudly supported thousands of families and individuals through dignified food services, expanded partnerships and amplified lived experience voices in shaping policy debates," she added.

"These successes show what is possible when community and collaboration lead the way, neighbours supporting neighbours, organisations working side by side, and voices of lived experience guiding us toward real change. Together, we have proven that food support can be dignified, sustainable, and rooted in respect.
"We remain hopeful that those with the power to do so will deliver on a fully funded Anti‑Poverty Strategy that includes the recommendations from the Advisory Panel. Together, we can build a future where no one goes hungry, everyone has enough to afford the essentials and foodbanks no longer exist.
"In the year ahead, we remain committed to tackling poverty not just with short‑term fixes, but through systemic reform that empowers people and amplifies local voices.
"Our vision is a community where everyone has opportunities to thrive.

"We thank all our partners, sponsors, funders, volunteers, staff and everyone who has donated or contributed to help us deliver our service. Derry truly is a place where community not only shines through but steps up.
"From all of us at the Foyle Network Foundation — Happy New Year!"
