Alicia Nash, the Pure International UK Preteen Sweetheart 2024/25, has successfully organised her annual Christmas Toy Appeal for the Children’s Ward at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.

Cathy Grady, Play Nurse Specialist  said: "A huge thank you to Alicia for organizing a Christmas Toy Appeal for the Children’s Ward at Altnagelvin Hospital.  Alicia has organized this appeal over the past number of year and we are incredibly grateful to her and the generosity and support of staff and students at Thornhill College, Derry.

"Your thoughtfulness and kindness brings a sprinkle of Christmas cheer to the Children’s Ward. The toys will be very much appreciated by our young patients and their families who will be in hospital over the Christmas period.  Thank you to everyone who has donated. Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and Peaceful New Year.”

Sarah Jane Scully said: “The gifts collected by Alicia throughout the year were delivered to the children spending time in the Children’s Ward at Altnagelvin Hospital this Christmas. A heartfelt thank you to every single person who donated gifts – your kindness truly makes a difference.

"Special thanks to Move All Derry who kindly transported all the gifts from storage to the hospital and to our amazing local drop-off points and sponsors including Store and Go (for the 4th year running) providing an incredible space to store gifts; Spar (Northland Road) for their continued support and a very special mention to Alisha’s school Thornhill College for supporting her toy appeal again this year.

"Your encouragement means the world to Alicia and to all of us. Thank you for helping bring joy to children this Christmas!”
