IN PICTURES: Stage Beyond Theatre Company's 'Access All Areas Festival in Derry's Millennium forum

Audiences enjoyed an interactive showcase of the North West’s rich cultural legacy, puppetry, music, comedy and more

Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Councillor Ruairí McHugh, pictured with pianist Tiffany Arnscheidt as he joined guests at the Millennium Forum for the launch of Stage Beyond Theatre Company’s Access All Areas Festival. The award-winning inclusive company presented two days of free promenade performances (September 22-23), supported by Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Community Festival Fund. Audiences enjoyed an interactive showcase of the North West’s rich cultural legacy, featuring extracts from Brian Friel’s Translations, recitals of Seamus Heaney’s poetry, a reimagining of Amelia Earhart’s historic landing, Josef Locke’s Hear My Song, puppetry, music, comedy and more.
