Opening of Domino’s Pizza in Maghera met with protesters

Mid Ulster IPSC called for the public to boycott the pizza chain

The opening of Domino’s Pizza in Maghera has been met with protest from the people of South Derry. 

Campaign group Mid Ulster IPSC called for the public to boycott the pizza chain saying: “Genocide goods not welcome in Maghera.

“While Domino’s was giving free pizza here, they were also giving free pizza to the genocidal Israeli forces in occupied Palestine.”

This Sunday, September 28 there will be a Mid Ulster march againist genocide. People are asked to gather at 1.30pm at Milltown, outside Rossa pitch in Magherafelt before marching to the gates of Moyola Precision Engineering, Castledawson.

In the lead up to the march, Mid Ulster IPSC said: “March in solidarity with the people of Palestine and against the ongoing genocide! March against arming Israel.”
