The Loup CCÉ held another successful John and Maura Mitchell Annual Charity event on February 13 at Loup GAC.
It attracted musicians from all over Ulster and was a great night of song, music and craic.
It raised the fabulous total of £4,396.50 going to the Parish of Ardtrea Development Fund. A big thank you to all those who supported this event.
The weekend continued with music workshops which brought distinguished tutors from throughout Ulster, a great opportunity for young musicians to learn from the best. This was followed by a concert in the Marina Ballyronan with renowned musicians Gary Curley, Co Fermanagh and Stephen McKee, Co Derry accompanied by Gerry McMahon Co Fermanagh, showcasing their recent CD, Chunky Business. Others performing on the night was Musicians from Loup CCE branch.
The Loup CCÉ is also hosting the Co Derry Fleadh on the weekend of April 24 to 26, with great music throughout the event! Competitions will be held at St Patrick’s School Loup on the weekend of April 25 we look forward to welcoming everyone.
