Patrick Haughey (Independent)
Independent candidate Patrick Haughey will be the only independent candidate contesting the Assembly Election in Mid Ulster.
Haughey has been active in opposing gold mining in the Sperrins, but this will be his first foray into electoral politics.
Only deciding to run on Wednesday of this week, he said putting his name forward was 'daunting' but appealed for the public to get behind his campaign.
