Derry man admitted breaching Sexual Offences Prevention Order

A man will be sentenced in November after he admitted two charges of breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order. 

Cornelius Kevin O'Connor (75) of Drumard Park in Derry appeared at the local Magistrate's Court today. 

He was charged with two breaches of the residency requirements of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order that occurred on July 22 this year.

Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that his client was accepting the charges and that a pre-sentence report would be required in the case.

The case was adjourned until November 7 to allow the report to be prepared and the defendant was released on bail.
