St Brigid’s and St Joseph’s churches prepare to host guest singer James Kilbane for a meaningful time of shared reflection.
The Three Patrons Parish, Derry, will host two special Lenten evenings of prayer, reflection and sacred music this March as part of its Faith in the Quiet Place programme.
The first evening will take place on Tuesday, March 10 at 7.00pm in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill, followed by a second gathering on Thursday, March 19 at 7.00pm in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh.
These prayerful evenings will focus on the themes of brokenness, healing and hope, offering an opportunity for people across the city to pause and reflect during the Lenten season. Members of the parish community will participate through Scripture readings and prayers, helping to shape a meaningful and shared time of reflection.
Guest singer James Kilbane, one of Ireland’s best-known Christian and inspirational vocalists, will share hymns and sacred songs during both services, helping to create a gentle and prayerful atmosphere.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome from across the parish and the wider Derry community. A voluntary offering will be accepted to help cover expenses.
