Food lovers and couples are being invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a truly unforgettable way with a hands-on live fire cooking experience at Wild & Fired at Brook Hall on February 14.
It’s just one of the standout events featured in this year’s Love LegenDerry Food Month programme taking place across Derry throughout February.
Aimed at couples looking to try something new, this immersive experience will see participants cooking together over open flames using premium equipment from Big Green Egg, Weber, MAKON, Good Wood Fuel and YETI, all under the expert guidance of ICSA-accredited instructors. The event promises a relaxed and romantic atmosphere set in the beautiful surrounds of the historic Brook Hall, combining the excitement of live fire cooking with great food, fun and creativity.
The specially curated menu puts local produce centre stage, showcasing some of the North West’s finest food and drink producers including Moyletra Moileds, Dart Mountain Cheese, Broighter Gold Rapeseed Oil, Ballyholey Farm Shop, Ditty’s Crackers, Grants Bacon, Moore on the Quay and Two Stacks Whiskey Cream. Guests will enjoy discovering bold flavours while learning new skills as they rustle up a tomahawk sharing steak with fire roasted potatoes, celebrating the region’s exceptional food story.
Tourism Manager with Derry City and Strabane District Council, Jennifer O’Donnell, said the event perfectly captures the spirit of Love LegenDerry Food Month.
