Is this the world's smallest calf?

A pixie Donegal calf, little higher than an average ruler could become the world's smallest cow, but there is a wait of three years, until it can be confirmed. Shorty is the daughter of Ruby and grand-daughter of Ella, which last year competed for entry in the 'Guinness Book of Records' as the world's shortest cow. James Vance and his wife Laura believe Shorty (a Dexter calf), as the family now call her, could win the title back for Ireland, when she is fully grown. Speaking from the family farm in Ballinacarrick, James said: "She is the smallest calf I have ever seen."
