More than 200 jobs in danger as Debenhams puts future of 10 of its stores under review

Department store Debenhams is set to consider closing up to 10 of its stores. The company are set to review up to 10 of its 176 UK stores for possible closure over the next five years after shares fell by a third over the past year. A central distribution warehouse and about 10 smaller warehouses could also close.   The 10 stores under review for closure, 'should they not meet our return objectives', have not been named. There is currently a Debenhams store in Derry as part of Foyleside Shopping Centre.
