A Derry man charged with dangerous driving in Inishowen last weekend has been granted bail.

The 20-year-old, of Beechwood Avenue, Derry, was arrested on Sunday last, April 12.

Morrison was charged that, at Three Trees, Quigley’s Point on April 12, 2026, he did drive a mechanically propelled vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. The charge is contrary to section 4 of the Road Traffic Act, 2010.

Morrison was also charged that, at Ardmore, Muff on the same date, he did drive a mechanically propelled vehicle in a public place at a speed or in a manner which, having regard to all the circumstances of the case (including the nature, condition and use of the place and the amount of traffic which then actually is or might reasonably be expected then to be therein) was dangerous to the public.
