Let's Go Padel confirm Magherafelt planning application

Let’s Go Padel, the leading provider of padel tennis in Northern Ireland, has officially submitted a full planning application to establish a state-of-the-art sports facility at the LINC Business Centre in Magherafelt.

The proposed development marks a significant milestone in the brand’s rapid regional expansion and is set to feature one single and four double courts, designed to meet the surging demand for the world’s fastest-growing sport.

The Magherafelt site, located near the Castledawson Roundabout, follows the successful launch of Let’s Go Padel venues in Belfast, Newry, Omagh, Ballyclare, Lurgan, Ballymoney and Derry.

The brand, led by entrepreneur Pete Boyle, aims to bring padel to communities across the province, with plans to open up to 50 courts this year.

Mateo Van de Merwe, Head of Let’s Go Padel, emphasised the inclusive nature of the project: “Not only are we providing a facility for sports that encompasses all ages, we believe it will also serve as a recreational hub for the whole community.
