Derry Court
A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court following a breach of his bail conditions.
Matthew McCloskey (27) of Lawrence Hill in Derry was on bail for a number of charges, including assaulting and resisting police in November last year, and a part of his conditions included that he abide by a curfew.
McCloskey was arrested at the weekend after police found him to be in breach of this.
Bail was opposed as this was his fourth breach, when asked, McCloskey couldn't give a reason why he was out.
Defence solicitor Keith Kyle said that McCloskey's 'history isn't good' but said that this was his first breach of high court bail and there had been no new offending.

He also said that McCloskey had been assaulted at the time of the incident, something police knew nothing about.
Bail was granted and he will appear again on March 11.
