Man charged with number of drug offences returned for trial to Derry Crown Court

The man, who had been granted anonymity, was charged with, between April 19, 2023 and July 7, 2024, being concerned in the supply and making offers to supply Class B drugs. He was also charged with, on July 20, 2024, possession of and possession with intent to supply Class C drugs and, on November 9, 2023, being concerned in an offer to supply Class A drugs. As well as this, he was charged with, between November 11, 2023 and July 20, 2024, possession of class C drugs

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a number of drug charges following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.

The man, who had been granted anonymity, was charged with, between April 19, 2023 and July 7, 2024, being concerned in the supply and making offers to supply Class B drugs.

He was also charged with, on July 20, 2024, possession of and possession with intent to supply Class C drugs and, on November 9, 2023, being concerned in an offer to supply Class A drugs.

As well as this, he was charged with, between November 11, 2023 and July 20, 2024, possession of class C drugs.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

He chose not to make any statements and not to call any witnesses.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on March 6.
