The BPerfect retail team at Foyleside with Ailbhe McDaid, Community Fundraiser at Foyle Hospice, launching the new B Good to You wellness fundraising event.
Foyle Hospice is inviting people from across the city and wider North West to come together for a brand new fundraising event, B Good to You, taking place on Friday, March 20 at the Everglades Hotel.
Created as an uplifting night centred on wellness and the small things that help us feel good, B Good to You will bring supporters together for an evening of make-up demonstrations, skincare demos, shopping, guest speakers and a few special surprises, all while raising vital funds for local hospice care.
The event will begin with a drinks reception from 7.00pm, with each guest welcomed with a glass of bubbly on arrival and a goody bag to take home. Tickets are £25, with proceeds supporting Foyle Hospice’s specialist palliative care and bereavement services for patients and families across the North West.
Foyle Hospice has also thanked the Everglades Hotel for its generous support in hosting the event and for providing accommodation for our special guests appearing on the night.
The evening will be hosted by well-known broadcaster Julian Simmons, with organisers saying they are thrilled to have him bring his warmth, humour and sense of occasion to what they hope will become a standout date in the local calendar.
Charmaine Coyle, Retail Area Manager at BPerfect Cosmetics, said: “BPerfect is delighted to support the B Good to You event alongside Foyle Hospice and is proud to stand behind an event that makes a meaningful difference within the community.”
Sheila Duffy, Director of Income Generation and Communications at Foyle Hospice, said: “B Good to You is something new for Foyle Hospice, and you can feel the excitement around it. It’s a night designed to be welcoming and full of positive energy, the kind of evening where you can meet friends, enjoy the atmosphere, and leave feeling genuinely lifted.
"It’s also an idea our Community Fundraiser, Ailbhe McDaid, has wanted to bring together for some time, and the response from the team and the community has been incredible, even before we’ve shared the full line-up. That tells you everything about how much people value connection right now, and how much they want to support care that’s right here, for local people, when it matters most.”
Ailbhe McDaid, Community Fundraiser at Foyle Hospice, added: “This event is all about taking a moment for yourself, while also doing something that will directly help others. The feedback from local people and businesses has been fantastic from day one, and we’re so grateful. We’re keeping tickets limited this year because we want everyone to have a high-quality experience, and we hope it will be the first of many B Good to You nights to come.
"A huge thank you to the Everglades Hotel for welcoming us, and to BPerfect Cosmetics for helping shape the event. We’re also delighted to have support from brilliant local companies who champion wellness and community, including Sass & Halo, Ferry Clever, Heavenly Scents, The Space Ebrington and Atelier Hair. It’s a real North West line-up, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together on the night.”
