Police are advising motorists that a section of the Glenshane Road is currently closed in both directions following a vehicle fire.
The closure is in effect on the stretch of the Glenshane Road between Altnagelvin and Drumahoe. Emergency services are currently at the scene managing the incident.

Traffic is being diverted at the junction of Dalys Brae and the junction of Drumahoe Road (Drumahoe).
Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area if possible and seek alternative routes for their journey. Significant delays are expected while the vehicle is being recovered and the roadway is cleared.
