Man charged with theft, common assault and possession of drugs to appear in court

The man was arrested in connection to an incident reported to have occurred on Great James Street in Derry during the early hours of Wednesday, January 14

The man is due to appear in Derry Magistrates' Court later today.

A 26-year-old man who was arrested in connection to an incident reported to have occurred on Great James Street in Derry during the early hours of Wednesday, January 14 has been charged to court.
He has been charged with theft, common assault, and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
He is expected to appear before Derry Magistrates' Court today.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
