Derry man returned for Crown Court trial on multiple drug charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges. 

Garvin Paul Strawbridge (31) of Moyola Drive in Derry appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court

He was charged with offering to supply a class B drug on dates between March 5 2021 and June 10 2021.

He also faced 4 similar charges that were said to have occurred on dates in March, May and June 2021.

Strawbridge was also charged with possessing a class B drug on January 16 2021.

It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. 

Strawbridge said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage. 

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on December 1 and released on continuing bail.
