Derry Court
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of possessing an imitation firearm.
Paul Gallagher (60) of Summerhill Road in Derry appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.
He is charged with possessing an imitation firearm on September 1 last year with intent to make others believe they could have violence used against them.
Gallagher was also charged with possessing an imitation firearm in a public place namely the carpark of the Collon Bar on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Gallagher said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on June 18 and released on continuing bail.
