Police launch investigation after break-in at popular Derry cafe

Police are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in the Strand Road area of Derry yesterday evening, Sunday, March 16.

Sergeant Irvine said: “Sometime between 10.30pm and 11pm, the front windows of the business were broken and a man, dressed in black gained access to the property before making off with an amount of cash.

"Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact police on 101, quoting reference 354 of 17/03/25."
