46-year-old faces trial over historical false allegations dating between 2015 and 2018.

A woman has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of perverting the course of justice charges by making false sexual assault allegations against individuals.

Catherine Clare Malcolm (46) of Grovemount Court in Derry appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.

She faced a total of 10 charges relating to perverting the course of justice by making allegations of sexual assault and two allegations of rape on various dates from December 21 2015 and November 6 2018.
