Derry Magistrate's Court
A man with 119 previous convictions has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with breaching his bail.
Francis Devine (33) of Coney Park in Coalisland was charged with breaching his bail by being intoxicated in a public place.
A police officer told the court that police on patrol in Belfast saw the defendant walking with a bottle of wine in his hand.
He was observed drinking from the bottle and was arrested for breaching bail and refused to take a preliminary breath test 'in an aggressive manner'.
Bail was opposed because the defendant had 32 breaches of bail and an officer said that police believed Devine would continue to abuse substances and then reoffend.
Defence counsel Michael Wilson said this was the defendants first breach since August.

He said that Devine had issues with alcohol he was trying to deal with.
Devine was granted bail and will appear again on January 15.
