Derry Magistrates Court
The proposed Preliminary Enquiry for three men charged in connection with a dissident republican parade in Derry on April last year has been adjourned at the local Magistrate's Court today.
Patrick Anthony Gallagher (31) of Raftery Close in Derry, Jason Lee Ceulemans (51) of Creevagh Heights also in Derry and Stephen Martin Murney (40) of Derrybeg Terrace in Newry were all due to face a PE today.
They are all charged with on dates between February 28 and April 11 last year they managed, assisted or arranged a meeting in support of a proscribed organisation namely the IRA.
They are also charged with addressing a meeting on April 10 2023 to encourage support for the IRA.
At today's hearing defence counsel Stephen Mooney said that there were 'difficulties' proceeding today with the PE.
He said that with the agreement of the court the case would be ready to proceed on March 19.
None of the accused appeared in court and the adjournment was granted until March 19.
