Man (38) charged in Derry following car break-in

Charges follow a report of a vehicle on Northland Road in Derry being broken into and a purse stolen

A 38-year-old man has been charged with theft, criminal damage and possessing an article with intent to damage a property and is scheduled to appear before Derry Magistrates Court today (Friday, 23rd February).

The charges follow a report on Thursday, 22nd February of a vehicle on Northland Road in Derry being broken into and a purse stolen. 

As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
