29-year-old man charged with recent Derry burglaries

Charges follow recent burglaries in the Strathfoyle area and in the Collon Lane area of the city

Detectives in Derry investigating reports of burglaries in the Strathfoyle area and a report of an aggravated burglary in the Collon Lane area have a charged a 29-year-old man to court.

The man, who was arrested on Tuesday, 21st February, has been charged with a number of offences, including four counts of burglary, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. 

He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates Court today, (Friday, 23rd February).

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
