Derry's “Health for Life” announces key recruitment drive following major merger

Following the landmark merger of the Old Library Trust (OLT) and the Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum (BBHF) in Derry, the newly formed organisation, Health for Life Supporting Community Wellbeing, has announced a recruitment drive to expand its frontline team.

The organisation is currently seeking a Training & Support Officer (NJC Scale 5) to play a pivotal role in delivering health-informed education and support across the city.

Applicants must have: A third level qualification in a health social sciences subject AND one year's experience training or educating individuals / groups in health-related issues; OR three years' training or educating individuals/ groups in health-related issues.

Closing date for applications is Monday, April 27 2026, at 12.00 midday.
