Sinn Féin councillor Brenda Chivers has welcomed the start of long awaited roadworks for Kilhoyle Road, Drumsurn
Cllr Chivers said: “I welcome the commencement of long awaited road improvement works at Kilhoyle Road.
“This much needed investment will help deliver significant benefits for residents and road users who have been campaigning for many years.
“I recognise that as with any roadworks there will be some disruption and inconvenience while work is ongoing. I would encourage people to be patient until these much needed works are completed."
