The suspected drugs were seized in Draperstown.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Organised Crime Branch have seized a number of items and made two arrests following a planned search of a property in Draperstown today, Wednesday, January 28.
Detective Sergeant Martin said: "Officers seized a quantity of suspected class A drugs and suspected class B drugs, alongside fireworks and cash, from a residential property in the Bradley Park area of the town.
"A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs; while a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of offences including possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.
"Both remain in custody at this time.
Detective Sergeant Martin continued: "Tackling illegal drug supply is a priority for us. Today's search has led to the removal of an estimated £235,000 worth of suspected drugs from our streets.
"Drugs bring misery to individuals, families and communities. Our message is clear and simple: if you see or know of anyone who is dealing drugs in your local area, then contact us on 101 or make a report online via our website.
"Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 which gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
