Police granted extra 36 hours to question trio over Coleraine murder

Police are continuing to investigate the murder.

Detectives investigating the murder of Wayne Reid in Coleraine have today, Sunday, January 18 been granted a court extension of an additional 36 hours to question two women, aged 39 and 33 and a man, aged 41.

The three were arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, January 16.

On Saturday, January 17, a 19-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 28-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bailed pending further police enquiries.

Two women, aged 45 and 38, and a man aged 33 also remain in custody at this time.
