The Technology Club at St Patrick's College in Dungiven embarked on a fundraising project in December which challenged them to design and manufacture packs of personalised laser-cut Christmas decorations.

The decorations could be ordered through the school office or purchased during the evening performances of the school's recent musical production 'Oliver'.

Pupils, led by Technology technician Sandra O'Donnell, worked after school fulfilling orders and preparing for school show sales during after-school sessions, break and lunch.

A fantastic effort that resulted in £525 being donated to their nominated cancer charity, Foyle Hospice.
