A property was searched and a vehicle was seized during the police operation in the early hours of this morning

Police investigating paramilitary activity arrest man (31) in County Derry

The man has since been released on bail.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch made an arrest and seized a vehicle during the early hours of today, January 13, as part of their ongoing investigation into paramilitary activity in Derry.

A 31-year-old man was arrested following a search of a property in the Claudy area.

A vehicle was also seized during this search as part of enquiries.  

Following interview, the man was released on bail to allow for further police enquiries to be conducted.

The investigation continues.
