O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny will play host to Donegal's Dr McKenna Cup fixture against Derry
An Garda Siochana have issued advice to those attending the Dr McKenna Cup fixture between Derry and Donegal in Letterkenny on Sunday.
Parking at O'Donnell Park will be limited to those attending with relevant passes for the match, which starts at 1:30pm.
“The area around the park is mainly residential with no parking available,” gardaí said.
“There is limited disabled parking availability in the vicinity of the grounds. People attending the game from the town side of the grounds are encouraged to arrive early and to avail of parking within the town (town carparks etc.) and to walk to the grounds or to avail of the free shuttle bus which will be available from Kernans Spar before the game.
“We appeal to all those who plan on attending to only park where it is legal and safe to do so. Do not park on footpaths at Ballymacool estate, on footpaths along the main road or park in any manner that might block access for emergency services, pedestrians or wheelchair users.
"Please follow directions given by Gardaí and stewards in the area. We hope that everyone has an enjoyable day, and we wish both teams the best of luck.”
