More than £20,000 raised for local charities in memory of Feeny woman Aisling O'Neill

The family of Aisling O’Neill, presenting cheque for £17,000, & €171, proceeds from a Big Breakfast held in Owenbeg.

The family of the late Aisling O'Neill from Feeny have raised in excess of £20,000 for two charities in her memory.

The popular Feeny woman (below) passed away earlier this year following an illness.

On the sixth month anniversary of her passing, her big-hearted family organised a big breakfast event at Owenbeg to raise funds for Foyle Hospice.

They had also been raising funds for the Banagher branch of St Vincent De Paul.

Members of Aisling's family this week have presented a cheque for £4,100 to St Vincent De Paul and £17,000 and €171 to Foyle Hospice, proceeds from the big breakfast event.
