County Derry band Sister Ghost set for Belfast gig in 2026

County Derry band Sister Ghost will be performing at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast early next year.

The gig, which is set to take place on Saturday, February 14, will help kick off 2026 for the group which is fronted by Feeny native Shannon O'Neill.

The Irish art-rock powerhouse group opened Snow Patrol's arena tour in Belfast and Dublin earlier this year and now Shannon is looking forward to bringing the same electrifying energy to the Waterfront.

“I'm delighted to be playing such an iconic venue and to be a part of their brand new Studio Sessions scheme that is all about supporting grassroots artists from here,” the north Derry native said.

The Valentine's Day event will also see support acts ANJA and Cora Harkin take to the stage.

Shannon continued: “It's also fantastic that we can promote the next generation of musicians by making this an all ages event with such talented kids on support too such as Derry's own Cora Harkin and her live band, which I've had the pleasure of teaching a number of them at the Nerve Centre rock camp in Derry.”

Following the critical acclaim of her debut album Beyond The Water (NI Music Prize Album Of The Year 2025 Finalist), and a busy live schedule including supporting Snow Patrol on their arena tour, Sister Ghost and her special guests will lead a night where matters of the heart and rock n roll collide; an event for anyone who prefers their Valentine’s Day with a little bit of bite!

Doors to the event open at 7pm with the performance starting at 8pm.
