Part of County Derry town sealed off following discovery of suspected World War II bomb

Ammunition Technical Officers are currently in attendance with PSNI officers at Laurel Hill Road in Coleraine

Police in Coleraine received a report of a suspected World War Two bomb found within the vicinity of Laurel Hill Road, shortly after 9.45am today.

Ammunition Technical Officers were tasked and remain in attendance at this time, along with Police.

Residents have not been evacuated at this stage, but the public is asked to avoid the area.
