IN PICTURES: Tuned In Project Wrestling Champion Noel Mulgrew honoured at Derry's Guildhall

Noel secured the championship title earlier this month at the Foyle Rumble 2 - The Brawl in the Hall event, which took place in the iconic St. Columb’s Hall

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Ruairí McHugh, was delighted to host a special reception at the Guildhall for the newly crowned Tuned In Project Wrestling Champion, Noel Mulgrew.

Noel secured the championship title earlier this month on Saturday, November 1st, at the Foyle Rumble 2 - The Brawl in the Hall event, which took place in the iconic St. Columb’s Hall. Guests from the Tuned In Project joined the Mayor to celebrate Noel's impressive achievement.

The Mayor praised Noel and the entire project for their positive impact on the local community. He said: “It was a genuine pleasure to welcome Noel Mulgrew and representatives from the Tuned In Project to the Guildhall today. Noel's victory at the Foyle Rumble 2 was a fantastic achievement and a testament to his dedication and hard work. The Tuned In Project does incredibly important work in our city and district, offering a positive outlet and building confidence among young people. He is an inspiration to many, and I wish him and the entire team continued success.”
