Derry Magistrate's Court
A Ukrainian national with an address in Donegal has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today charged with assault and harrassment.
Olha Chukhno (38) of Westbrook, Buncrana was charged with assaulting a man on July 20 this year and the charge is aggravated by domestic abuse.
She was also charged with a course of behaviour that amounted to harassment on dates between July 20 and August 7 this year again aggravated by domestic abuse.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges and did not oppose bail.
The woman was released on her own bail of £500 on condition she had no contact with the injured party or his immediate family.
She will appear again on September 6.
