The Limavady ward seats have been confirmed
The five Limavady ward seats have been confirmed for Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
The first elected candidate in Limavady ward was Sinn Féin's Brenda Chivers who won a seat after receiving 1,800 first preference votes.
Stephen Callaghan (DUP) secured the second seat with 1,010 first preference votes.
SDLP candidate Ashleen Schenning won the third seat in Limavady in round three 1,050 votes.
DUP candidate Andrew Callan was elected in round six with 1,069 votes.
In the seventh round Amy Mairs of the Alliance party was elected with 932 votes.
The DUP’s Jordan Wallace, UUP’s Barry Crawford, John Boyle Aontú, Independent James McCorkell and Independent Billy Stewart were all eliminated.
