Heavy rain forecast: be prepared for flooding says Fleming

With heavy rain forecast for early tomorrow morning, Derry Sinn Féin Councillor Paul Fleming is advising members of the public to be prepared for flooding

He said: "I would like to alert people in the Derry area there is a Yellow weather warning for early Sunday morning with heavy rainfall expected.

"The MET office has issued the warning so i would urge anyone who lives in an area that is prone to flooding to have the likes of sandbags ready.

"The emergency telephone number to report a flood is 0300 2000 100."
