Patsy Hamilton (née Ellis), 110 Elmvale, Culmore, Derry

The death has taken place of Patsy Hamilton (née Ellis), November 5 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Altnagelvin Hospital, (formerly of College Terrace), beloved wife of the late Jackie, loving mother of John, Billy, Lynn, Mary-Jo, Terri, Donna, Gerry, Christopher, Colm, Noel and Peter, a devoted granny and great-granny, a dear sister to all her brothers and sisters and a loving mother-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Loved and sadly missed by the wider family circle. Patsy will be reposing at her home, 110 Elmvale, Culmore, On Wednesday, November 5 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and Thursday and Friday from 12:00noon to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday, November 8 at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Seamus Hughes, 57A Bellshill Road, Castledawson

The death has taken place of Seamus Hughes, November 5 2025, (peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, 57A Bellshill Road, Castledawson) adored husband of Rose (née Shivers) beloved father of Seamus, Shaun, Christopher and Ciaran and loving son of the late Seamus and Rosie. Seamus’s remains will leave his late residence on Friday, November 7 at 9.45am for 10.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Lavey (which can be viewed via the parish webcam), burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of the late Danny Lynch, November 4 2025 peacefully at home, beloved husband of the late Brigid, loving father of Lisa, Judith, Jonathan, Ruth and Rebecca, much loved grandfather of Matthew, Hannah, Milo, Remy, Hugo, Louise, Alexander, Aaron and Adam and dear brother of Marie, John, Roisin and the late Damien and Elizabeth. Danny’s remains will be reposing in his home, 8 Fortfield Avenue, on Thursday from 12noon - 9.00pm. The death has taken place of Cecil McGill, November 4 2025, peacefully at his home, 92 The Meadows, beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Karen, John and Kevin, devoted grandfather of Matthew, Sophie, Oscar and Vincent, dear father-in-law of Julie and Arlene, cherished brother of Maura, Pat, Anne, Geraldine, Roisin and the late Joe. It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Thomas (Tom) Nolan (Magherafelt), November 5 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family, beloved husband of Anne (née McErlean) and loving father of Seána, Niamh (McDaid), Declan and Conor. Devoted grandfather of Éamonn, Dáire, Seán and Íde. Son of the late Thomas and Mary, dear brother of Maura, Teresa and the late Pat and Danny. Funeral from his home, 2 Parklane, Magherafelt on Friday, November 7 at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady of the Assumption Magherafelt, a private Cremation will follow at a later date.
