Joan Browne (née Brennan), 6 Asylum Road, Derry

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Joan Browne (née Brennan), peacefully at Ardlough Care Home on 15th December 2023. Late of 6 Asylum Road. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy. Devoted mother of Liam, Catherine, Mairead and Claire A much loved mother-in-law of Rachael, Seamus, Kevin and Kevin. Loving granny of Stephen, Micaela, Nathan, Tomás, Katrina, Aidan, Gabriel and Niamh. Dearest sister of the late Bobby, Willie and Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Joan’s remains will be reposing at the McClafferty funeral home and chapel of rest. The death has taken place of Margo Devine (née Lavery), 15th December 2023, peacefully at home, beloved wife of the late Uel, 18 Rathlin Drive, loving mother of Marie, Elizabeth, Barry, Roy, Greg and Karen, a much loved mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Josie, Paddy and the late Kathleen, Hanna, Betty, Monica, Christy and Geordie. Her remains will be reposing in her home from 12noon today (Saturday). Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan.
