Appeal following drugs and drug-related paraphernalia seizure in Derry

Officers from Ballyarnett Neighbourhood Team conducted two planned searches, assisted by Tactical Support Group colleagues, in the Skeoge area of Derry today (Thursday 1st February).

A quantity of suspected Class A and suspected Class B drugs was seized, along with drug-related paraphernalia. 

Enquiries are ongoing.

Sergeant Johnston said: “We want to take this opportunity to appeal to anyone with information, or concerns about the illicit supply, possession or misuse of drugs in their area to call 101, or make a report online via www.psni.police.uk/report Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
